Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Armory Bot Discord bot, dashboard, and documentation site (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Authority

You represent that:

  • You are allowed to use Discord and related services under applicable rules.
  • If acting for a server or organization, you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Service Description

Armory Bot provides Discord automation and management features, including moderation, logging, economy, leveling, role management, utility workflows, and optional integrations.

Features may change over time.

3. Account and Access

  • You are responsible for your Discord account security.
  • Server owners/admins are responsible for role/permission configuration.
  • Misconfigured permissions are the responsibility of the server operator.

4. Paid and Gated Features

Some features may require paid access or operational enablement.

  • Availability, pricing, and limits may change.
  • Access controls may be enforced by feature flags and runtime checks.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
  • Attempt to bypass permissions, limits, gates, or security controls.
  • Interfere with Service availability or other users' operation.
  • Submit malicious content intended to exploit integrations or downstream systems.

6. User Content

You retain responsibility for content you submit through the Service (for example tags, issue reports, moderation reasons, and messages).

By submitting content, you grant us the limited rights needed to process, store, and display that content to operate requested features.

7. Integrations and Third Parties

The Service may interact with third-party platforms (for example Discord and GitHub). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies.

8. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

We are not liable for interruptions, downtime, or feature deprecation.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create operational/security risk.

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing it from your server and discontinuing dashboard use.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Armory Bot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Armory Bot and its operators from claims, liabilities, and costs arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, unless otherwise required by law.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
